Well I am finally done. I've collected old processors, ram and CPUs for almost 5 years now. I've got quite a collection amassed so far. For awhile now, I have wanted to take my favorites and put them in a shadowbox to hang in my office.
I have finally got around to finishing this project, (unemployment will do that) and thought you Tech minded folk would enjoy a gander.
There are quite a few rare CPU's in there. From an old Navy ballistics processor, to a only writable math processor that can only be erased with a infrared light!
I trimmed up the collection with some various sticks of old ram I had in the collection as well.
From what I have been told, there is quite a bit of gold in those old processors, but at this point- I would much rather keep them in their current configuration and not ruin them. They are our tech history of sorts, and it reminds me of how far we have come, in just a few years. It makes one wonder- where are we going to be 25 years from now?
It's an exiting time to be alive men.
What do you think?
